Hebeish Group is a good reputation company established in 1964 focusing on producing thermoplastics such as High-Density Polyethylene pipes & Fittings. Hebeish Group was awarded a patent for manufacturing HDPE spiral pipe for gravity application with diameters up to 2500 mm, Throughout the years they created multiple partnerships with renowned international companies to provide high-quality fittings and welding machines including Akatherm ( Netherlands), NTG ( Turkey), Ritmo ( Italy) and GAO (China).

  • Receiving their new line and being the owner of it was very challenging.
  • Initiating the manufacturing metrics to analyze and track the daily operations indicators.
  • Train the operators on the very high-tech machine to fit the operations standards.
  • 5S Methodology was the outline art of the plant to have an organized environment.
  • Made SOPs for the processes.
  • Used advanced Excel Macros with VBA programming to enhance the data entry processes on a daily basis, tracking all the set metrics.
  • Brainstorming sessions with consultants to enhance the hidden factories of the production line to stabilize the process.

  • Track the inventory operations aligned with the Inventory Manager.

Firefighting factory produces fire pumps, fire suppression systems, fire hydrants and fire cabinets. Supplying, installing and maintaining a huge variety of fire protection equipment which are FM Approved and UL-listed.



Projects with Melton:

  • Supervised the manufacturing process of the products either insourced or outsourced to maintain the quality level of each.
  • Products such as
  1. ​​Large water vessels 40 m³.
  2. ​​​Fire pumps.
  3. ​​FM200 filling station.
  4. ​​Fire Search.
  • Led the craftsmen; welders, grinders and laborers to deliver the production plan on time.
  • 3d modelling for the products for sheet metal manufacturing and prototyping.
  • 5S for the workshop to organize the place.



Measurements

•    Ensure that OEE/OPI achieve the world-class 85% rate or above.

•   Track and improve the capacity rates of each product.

•   Use RCA tools to reduce the breakdowns.

•    Track the changeover rate and improve it using SMED.

•    Track the utilization “TEEP” of each line and the overall utilization.

•    Measure the team performance.

•    Reduce the overtime rate vs the accepted quantity.


Planning & Inventory

•    Put a plan to fulfil the customer needs and to be aligned with the company strategy and goals.

•    Align with S&OP to commit to a Master Production Schedule according to the production capacity rates, cycle time, and lead time.

•    Check the material status due to the needed manufacturing orders and BOM

•    Put the raw material identification card under supervision of the quality department after making the approval tests.

•    Deliver the finished products with IDs

•    Apply Just-in-time to reduce the work-in-progress

•    Apply Kanban to visualize the on-time status of the progress

•    Follow the regulations in loading/unloading, FIFO in some industries


Quality

•    Participated in gaining the ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and FSSC 22000.

•    Commit to the CTQ points that have been identified with the cooperation of the quality department.

•    Make NCR to identify the non-conformity of the raw material, finished product or process.

TPM & Maintenance Reliability

•    Apply the eight pillars of TPM aligned with the maintenance team.

•    Focus on Autonomous Maintenance for the first level of maintenance.

•    Use the continuous improvement methods to enhance the Quality Maintenance
